The law is gone and the army is bones in the treeline. Green Mountain is the one patch of ground where nobody shoots. Everywhere else it is hordes, Ash Company, whatever you caught that you cannot name, and whoever decided they wanted what you are carrying.

Tight treelines, contested military, and a market economy running underneath all of it. Hordes rise where the traffic is. Armed groups hold the airfield and the hard sites. Most of what kills you out here is not another player.

What is out there

  1. The dead come in waves

    Hordes rise around high-traffic ground. You get a siren, and that is the only warning you get. Fight it or leave, but decide fast.

  2. Ash Company holds the hard sites

    Armed groups sit on the airfield, Tisy and Vybor. They do not trade, they collect. Their gear is worth taking, if you can take them.

  3. Sickness kills more than bullets

    Infections, fevers and wounds that will not close on their own. Carry the right kit or the thing that finishes you will be something you caught, not something you fought.

  4. You level what you use

    Your character gets better at the things you actually do. Nobody spawns competent here, and nobody stays useless for long.

  5. Green Mountain is the only mercy

    One neutral market, held together by a truce nobody fully trusts. No shooting inside the lines. Step back across them and that protection is gone.

  6. Somewhere there is a black market

    It moves what no honest trader will touch. It is not on any map and we are not telling you where. You find it by listening.

Common questions

How do I join?

Search “Chaotic Assassins” in the DayZ launcher, or use direct connect with the IP on the Servers page. The launcher downloads our mod list automatically the first time you connect, so give it a few minutes before your first session.

What does “100k start” mean?

Every new character spawns with 100,000 in trader currency. You skip the opening grind and get straight into gearing up and fighting. It is the same for everyone, and it is not something you can buy.

Do I have to PvP?

No, and plenty of people mostly don't. There's a full trader economy, farming, a drug trade, skills, medicine and base building to sink time into, and the trader hubs are proper safe zones where fighting isn't allowed. That said, this isn't a PvE server: outside the safe zones you can be shot, and bases can be raided at any time. Most people mix it up rather than picking a lane.

Is anything pay-to-win?

No. Supporter perks are cosmetic and convenience only: priority queue and a custom CLAN tag. No weapons, gear, currency, vehicles or any competitive advantage is ever sold. We follow Bohemia Interactive's monetisation rules.

When can I be raided?

Always. Raiding is open 24/7 and there is no protection window. Build somewhere defensible and assume your base is a target whenever you are offline.

How do I report a cheater?

Open a ticket in Discord with the time, the server, and any clip you have. Do not call people out in global chat. It tips them off and makes our job harder. We act fast on tickets.

Do I need to install mods manually?

No. The DayZ launcher handles it. If a mod fails to download, unsubscribe from it in the Steam Workshop, verify your DayZ files, then reconnect and let the launcher fetch it again.
